I feel like i should have found a solution to this already, but seem
to be going round in circles here.
Problem: My custom markers + custom icons are not clickable in IE when
in the shadow of an InfoWindow. Nothing new there!
Here is my icon definition:
var Icon = new GIcon();
Icon.image = '/images/pin_blue.png';
Icon.shadow = '/images/pin_shadow.png';
Icon.transparent = '/images/pin_transparent.png';
Icon.imageMap = [14,0, 27,5, 20,15, 23,19, 19,24, 13,24, 5,18, 9,12,
13,5, 12,3 - ;
Icon.iconSize = new GSize(32, 32);
Icon.shadowSize = new GSize(59, 32);
Icon.iconAnchor = new GPoint(10, 31);
Icon.infoWindowAnchor = new GPoint(15, 6);
So yes, I've added values for my icon which i believe to be correct
for the transparent and imageMap properties - yet in IE 7 I can't
click my shadowed markers. They do however work perfectly well in
firefox 2.
The problem also occurs with the example provided by Mike Williams
(econym.demon.co.uk/googlemaps/examples/custom.htm). If I
understand correctly, in the example i should be able to click the
'hand' icon ("Marker Two", even when it is in the shadow of 'Marker
Three'.
What's the dilly?
